Winter wonderland on the Gütsch from 22 December
The SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun will have to close its facilities on Uri soil for skiing operations for at least one week from 22 December. The Gütsch Express gondola in Andermatt will continue to operate for pedestrians between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. (price for the return trip CHF 10, children CHF 5). A winter wonderland with an ice sculpture trail is being created on the Gütsch. Take-aways from the two restaurants ( The Japanese by The Chedi Andermatt and Gütsch by Markus Neff ) will also be available. There is also a take-away offer on the Nätschen. The hiking trail between Andermatt, Nätschen and Gütsch will be prepared. It may only be used by pedestrians.
Winter activities on the valley floor include hiking and walking trails, cross-country skiing , snowshoeing and e-quad rides on the driving range. Take-away is also available at The Swiss House restaurant, as well as at the driving range (both from 11am to 4.30pm). The Biselli restaurant offers take-away and home delivery and has the bakery shop open.
The ski area between Sedrun and Oberalp Pass as well as in Disentis will remain open without any other decision by the government of the Canton of Graubünden. We ask day visitors not to come to Andermatt for skiing.
