Minergie-P certification
Frame is the first building in Andermatt Reuss certified with the Minergie-P standard. The building combines maximum energy efficiency with modern conveniences.
The Minergie-P requirements are very high. The building envelope must be 30 percent below the statutory requirements of the low-energy standard. In addition, attention is paid to net energy consumption and the building’s overall energy efficiency. This includes electrical power for building technology, lighting, household appliances and the hot-water system. Frame – as well as Andermatt Reuss as a whole – is connected to the district heating network in Andermatt.
