Additional GaultMillau points in Andermatt
No other mountain restaurant at over 2,300 metres above sea level has as many GaultMillau points as The Japanese by The Chedi Andermatt and Gütsch by Markus Neff. The two restaurants above Andermatt now each have 16 GaultMillau points (and already one Michelin star each); a Swiss record for mountain restaurants. This is culinary art at the highest level at over 2,300 metres above sea level.
The Chedi Andermatt has received an additional GaultMillau point for its Japanese restaurant on the Gütsch. Together with Gütsch by Markus Neff , it thus belongs to the highest league of mountain restaurants in Switzerland. The brothers Dominik Sato and Fabio Toffolon convinced the jury with their culinary art.
The Executive Chef at The Restaurant of The Chedi Andermatt Hotel Carsten Alexander Kypke also picked up another point and now has 15 GaultMillau points. His dishes are on the menu twice - once with a European interpretation and once with an Asian interpretation. Another point was also awarded to Restaurant Bären. Congratulations to all.
