Fun and action for children and teenagers: An adventurous summer in Andermatt
A sporty and adventurous summer awaits children and teenager in Andermatt. The Andermatt Adventure Camps take place from 15 to 26 July, offering activities such as archery, dancing, treasure hunts and visits to the goat farm. A highlight is the Klapperlapapp family festival on 20 and 21 July. Young guests can also explore the region throughout the summer on themed trails, in the fairy tale gondola or on the Smuggler Trail.
The Andermatt Adventure Camps offer young guests a varied programme of outdoor and indoor activities. Two five-day camps are offered, divided into two age groups: 5 to 8 years and 9 to 13 years. The first camp takes place from 15 to 19 July, the second from 22 to 26 July. The 5-day pass for CHF 700 includes supervision for five days, lunch, all activities, a mountain railway ticket to the Nätschen station for seven days and one ticket per child for the Klapperlapapp family festival on 20 and 21 July. It is also possible to buy a 1-day pass or a 3-day pass. The activities can be booked on the Andermatt Adventure Camps website.
Summer fun for the whole family at the Klapperlapapp Festival
On 20 and 21 July, the Klapperlapapp family festival will take place in Andermatt for the first time. The programme takes place during the day in the family restaurant Matti and in the evening on the Piazza Gottardo. The festival promises entertainment for young and old with fairy tales, stories, games, delicacies and musical entertainment. Family holidays at special conditions
During the Andermatt Adventure Camps, The Chedi Andermatt, Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen and Andermatt Alpine Apartments are offering special family packages. From this summer, the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen and The Chedi Andermatt will also have a Kids Club and special offers for children.
Other attractions in the region
In the Andermatt holiday region, there are discovery opportunities for young guests throughout the summer. For example, on the themed trail "The favourite places of Molly the marmot", on the "Gloria Trail Lutersee" or on the Smuggler Trail. Another highlight is the fairy tale gondola: in summer, some of the gondolas on the Gütsch Express are transformed into a fairytale parlour.
Those who like sports will find what they are looking for in Andermatt centre. There is a multi-sports arena, two padel courts, a beach volleyball court, a bike trail park, two climbing rocks and a large trampoline. A barbecue area invites you to take a break in between. Indoor sports facilities are also available. The new sports studio has a squash hall, table tennis, bouldering walls and a multifunctional hall.
