Christmas shopping in Andermatt Reuss
Is gift-giving your language of love? If so, we have a few ideas for how you can spread joy on Christmas. And as the saying goes, the way to one's heart is through the stomach. Restaurant Biselli has an extensive selection of pastries. Or visit the Victorinox shop in Piazza Gottardo, where you can have a name engraved on a pocket knife. Imholz Sport offers a wide range of products for winter sports enthusiasts. And soon, a newcomer will be opening in the neighbourhood, which will especially make wine lovers happy. On December 16, Schuler Weine will be opening a boutique in Andermatt Reuss, where you can buy and enjoy wine and everything that goes with it. Our Customer Services office in Piazza Gottardo is open daily for everyone looking for an Andermatt gift. It offers many beautiful, unique gifts for your loved ones.
A variety of events and activities for keeping busy during the holidays!
On December 17, a winter kick-off will take place in Andermatt to ring in the winter season. There will be free mulled wine, tea and nut pastries for all guests at the Gütsch Express,and Gemsstock valley stations in Andermatt, as well as at the Dieni, Sedrun and Disentis valley stations. There will also be a lot going on in the village: hot beverages, tasty snacks and activities for children are guaranteed.
At the VERVE Techno Festival at the Bäzberg, techno fans can experience a day dance with a divine winter backdrop and world-class DJs! From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., a total of 11 acts at the VERVE Techno Festival in Andermatt will get the dance floor shaking.
Shortly before New Year's Eve, Piazza Gottardo will wrapped in winter magic. Warm up with mulled gin or raise a glass of Champagne with friends. There will also be delicious specialities from the region to enjoy. Rotauf and Imholz Sport will be presenting their latest products, and anyone who is curious can try out fat bikes. Tanzberg will accompany the entire afternoon with subtle techno sound.

Andermatt Music takes over the Andermatt Concert Hall with three unforgettable concerts
Things continue on December 27 with musical entertainment at the Andermatt Concert Hall. The Central Switzerland bandleader and clarinettist Mathias Landtwing and his ensemble “Helvetikuss” will offer surprises with strains of new folk music in a fresh guise – definitely worth a visit. The next day, the brass players of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam will be performing at the Andermatt Concert Hall, mesmerising with virtuoso playing and rousing music.
Are you looking for a spectacular way to ring in the new year? With the symphony concert “Belle Époque Suisse”, the Swiss Orchestra will start the new year in divine, surprising fashion with virtuoso soloists.

Festive dinners at the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen Andermatt and torch-lit hike on New Year’s Eve
The festive programme of the Radisson Blu Reussen is not to be missed: From December 23 to 27, Restaurant Spun will be offering a special holiday menu with local delicacies. On New Year’s Eve, you can choose between a festive buffet in the award-winning Andermatt Concert Hall or, as a culinary experience, a five-course tasting menu at Restaurant Spun. The Winter Village at The Chedi Andermatt
Just in time for the winter season, The Courtyard at the five-star deluxe hotel The Chedi Andermatt has been transformed into a charming winter village. In the middle of a real pine forest with small clearings, guests will find the traditional The Chalet, The Kota for culinary moments, a lively village square and, tucked out of sight, a Finnish barrel sauna and a hot tub.
