SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun postpones start of season on Gemsstock
The SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun is postponing the start of the ski season on Gemsstock due to warm weather conditions. Weekend operations had been scheduled to start on October 29. The new date is expected to be November 19.
High temperatures are preventing the season from starting on Gemsstock on October 29. The SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun had planned to launch weekend operations at that time. Since the weather forecast through the end of October is not calling for any significant snowfall, the start of the season is being postponed by three weeks and is now scheduled to commence on November 19. The start of continuous weekly operations on Gemsstock is planned from November 26.
The season at the Andermatt+Sedrun+Disentis ski area is scheduled to start on December 3 with weekend operations and then on December 17 continuously.
