Opening of Furkagasse on 14 December 2024 with many celebrities
Furkagasse will open on 14 December 2024 in the new village district of Andermatt Reuss with hotels and apartment buildings, expanding the existing range of restaurants (Spun in the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, Biselli and La Bonne Cave) and shops (Imholz Sport, Mammut, Victorinox, Drogerie Andermatt) with attractive shopping, service, gastronomy and leisure facilities. In addition to the announced restaurants IGNIV by Andreas Caminada and Nooba, which are already raising great expectations with their first-class gastronomy, numerous new brands are enriching the offering. The new openings include Dagsmejan, Kjus, Muntagnard, Qwstion, Andermatt Swiss Watches, Audi, Tasoni, Frauenschuh, Feinedinge and Grüezi Coffee.
For the opening of Furkagasse on 14 December 2024, the public is invited to explore the new meeting place in Andermatt Reuss and enjoy the festive atmosphere. At 2.30 pm, Swiss star Bastian Baker will play a showcase, and after 3.30 pm there will be live music, street artists and culinary stalls to ensure a varied programme and a lively atmosphere. The opening ceremony at 3.00 pm will be attended by Samih Sawiris (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Andermatt Swiss Alps), Raphael Krucker (CEO of Andermatt Swiss Alps), Peter Baumann (Mayor of Andermatt) and Andreas Caminada (Michelin-starred chef and owner of the IGNIV restaurant), among others. The world-famous designer and architect Patricia Urquiola will also be present. She designed all the IGNIV restaurants and also the apartments in Haus Maya, where the IGNIV restaurant is located.
