Off to the green - the Andermatt Golf Course opens on 17 May Everything new at a glance
Spring has arrived in Andermatt and with it the opening of the golf season. The award-winning golf course not only fulfils the highest sustainability requirements but is now also a member of the Leading Golf Courses of Switzerland quality association, which consists of just eight courses. Special packages with hotels, public transport, and the Academy partner ASGI (Association suisse des golfeurs indépendants) are also new.
Together with the Treno Gottardo and the Voralpen-Express, special tickets are now available from CHF 129, combining a pleasant journey by train and a challenging golf experience (train journey and green fee). There are connections from Basel, Zurich, Lucerne and Locarno, as well as St. Gallen. So that you can travel light, golf equipment, a premium TaylorMade rental set, is available at a special price of CHF 39. In addition, the Andermatt Alpine Apartments are offering three nights for the price of two if you book the "Andermatt Golf Experience" train offer.
Tee off for free
The Chedi Andermatt and Radisson Blu Reussen hotels are offering golf packages that are valid from the opening of the season until 30 June. At the Radisson Blu Reussen, golfers benefit when booking the "It Takes Two" Golf Experience; an offer including two nights' accommodation, breakfast buffet, access to the spa, pool and fitness facilities as well as two integrated green fees and a 20 per cent discount on each additional green fee. At The Chedi Andermatt, the "Fairway to Heaven" package offers a green fee from just one night or "Whole in one" from two nights and a 20 per cent discount on the green fee for the companion; in addition to the sumptuous breakfast buffet and The Spa and Health Club.
ASGI as a strong partner
The cooperation between the Andermatt Swiss Alps Golf Course and the ASGI includes close coordination of the Academy offers, the organisation of tournaments and the discounts for all ASGI members. The new partnership also focuses on joint marketing of the Andermatt Golf Course in order to optimise synergies between the two parties. Golfers with an ASGI membership or the ASGI National Golf School Card will benefit from 20
per cent off green fees on the Andermatt Golf Course. In addition, new ASGI members receive a one-off voucher for a 50 per cent discount on a green fee. In cooperation with the Andermatt Alpine Apartment, ASGI members can take advantage of special accommodation offers that include Academy services such as golf lessons or coaching on the course.
